Welcome to our White Tea Mini Cakes Master Tasting Collection box. 4 excellent white teas, comprising different varieties of white teas and flavours. It is ideal for tasting a wide curated selection, compare and finding one's own preferences and taste.

White teas are a bit of a rarer tea out of China, where is highly praised and respected for its unique delicate flavour and properties.

4 WHITE TEAS

The four white teas of this collection are made of Fuding Dabai tea leaves. Dabai trees here are 15 years old and they grow at 800 meters above sea level, in the town of Zhenghe, Fujian Province. The soil here has a reddish-yellow colour, rich in minerals and organic nutrients. However different teas are from different harvests, they are picked attending to different white tea gradings and have different flavour, as it follows:

• Orange Peel "Chenpi" Shoumei White Tea (100g.): this tea is made of Fuding Dabai tea leaves blended with the super aromatic and natural Chinese "Chenpi" (sun-dried tangerine peel). Depending on how light or strong you brew the mini cakes, the flavours can range from fragrant, softly sweet and light, to thick and rich, with a smooth and super satisfying honey-like character. The chenpi (aged tangerine peel) match perfectly the aged Shoumei bringing slightly citrusy and herbal/balsamic notes into play.

• Osmanthus Flower Shoumei White Tea (100g.): Fuding Dabai tea leaves combined with fresh, sweet and natural Osmanthus flower native to China. Depending on how light or strong you brew the mini cakes, the flavours can range from fragrant softly sweet and light, to thickand rich, with a smooth and super satisfying honey-like character. The osmanthus is a perfect marriage for this white tea, adding aromatic floral notes

• White Peony (100g.): these mini cakes are a spring 2020 harvest, made of Fuding Dabai tea leaves. Clear and bright apricot colour, it offers a natural lightly floral fragrance. The flavour and feeling is very refreshing, with mellowlayers of delicately sweet and smooth floral highlights.

• Aged Shoumei White Tea (100g.): this is a 2018 harvest, made of Fuding Dabai tea leaves. As a good Shoumei (higher proportion of larger leaves) the tea is very robust, suitable to many brewing styles, in small teapot or gaiwan, in a mug or in a large teapot. It is fantastic to brew by decoction/boiled on the stove or in a kettle.
