Oolong tea is one of the 'Six Main Categories of Tea'. Oolong tea is a semi-oxidised tea (20% to 80% oxidation). Oolong tea is natural to China, where it appeared around the year 1725 as the evolution from the Dragon and Phoenix tribute teas of the Song Dynasty.
